Have you got SOLE?
SOLE, Sharing Our Life Experiences, is a group of young adults with disabilities that meet at the dRC twice a month on Mondays. SOLE is still trying to find the sweet spot for its group meetings – too EARLY, too LATE, too SHORT, too LONG. The group will now be meeting earlier, 5:30-7pm continuing the vision of empowering each other while enlightening & inspiring community progress.
New focus will be on Shared leadership! The first session, April 8th, will be facilitated by Zavid, who will teach us to make clay figures. You can carve the Easter Lamb butter, make Holiday ornaments, replicate Mom’s favorite cat or Dad’s beloved dog. The possibilities are endless. Bring your imagination and positive attitude. Supplies will be provided.
What do you have to offer? What special experience or skill you could share with the group. Be ready to make suggestions for meeting topics, speakers or facilitators. RSVP to Debe Fults at email@example.com or 540-373-2559.
Meetings are held twice a month at the dRC from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
