Consumer-Directed Personal Assistant, providing support to people with disabilities

A Consumer-Directed Personal Attendant (CDPA) provides needed services for an individual with a disability enabling him or her to live at home in the community, most often under the Medicaid Waivers. CDPA’s are in high demand in our area and throughout the state.  Attend this session and learn what is necessary to become a CDPA and what is expected once you  become one.  This is not a medical training and does not involve training to become a CNA.  Instead, the training focuses more on independent living for the person being provided care and discusses Medicaid Waivers (the program under which most CDPAs are paid).  Come find out if this is the job or career is for you on October  16, 2019 from 11:30 to 1 p.m. at the dRC.    There is a FREE training.
