The disAbility Resource Center and the Alzheimer’s Association in Fredericksburg are sponsoring a series of FREE informational training sessions for community members and professionals on local programs, services, and agencies that focus on people with disabilities and other chronic diseases.  Sessions will be held the first Wednesday of the month at the dRC from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  To register, link to Quality Connections.

Aug 5     Deaf and Hard of Hearing Programs, Equipment and Apps

Sept 2     5 Wishes – Develop a Living Will with a Heart and Soul

Oct. 7      Address the Stress – Compassion Fatigue and Burn Out

Presenters are Lori Myers, Regional Director of the Alzheimer’s Assoc.; Tennie Gratz, Long Term Care Medicaid Specialist with the dRC; Kim Lett, Program Manager and Deputy Director of the dRC; andRebecca Bennett, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Coordinator at the dRC.
