MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD
The disAbility Rights Movement is a Civil Rights Movement. Learn about disability history and how you can help to change the future in this online Zoom training. Learn how to advocate for yourself and with others to support the rights, independence, accessibility, and inclusion of people with disabilities.
This is a 2-day training on June 30 and July 1, 2020, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day with a 30-minute break for lunch at noon. Participants must register for both days and a Zoom link with be sent to you. After the training, surveys will be sent out. The first 10 people that return their survey will be given FREE registration to the National Council on Independent Living’s (NCIL) virtual conference, Evolution of Our Revolution, July 20 to August 7, 2020. This is a $240 value. NCIL participants can take part in several informational and interactive sessions throughtout the NCIL conference period.
