Autism: Solving the Puzzle Together Across A Lifespan

D. J. Svobada, creator of Imagifriends, is the keynote speaker of Putting the Puzzle Together Across A Lifespan, the Rappahannock Area Autism Council’s 2nd annual conference. D.J. was diagnosed at the age of three with Autism Spectrum Disorder with psychomotor retardation which included speech delays and issues with his fine motor skills. He found it difficult to even hold a pencil. Today, D.J. is an dynamic, motivational public speaker, accomplished artist and author with three books to his credit; My Imagiville, The Mupperezmo and the Rainbow, and The Inspirations of Imagiville.

Conference session topics include Autism 101, Medicaid Waivers, Transition from High School to Adult Life, Recreational and Social Opportunities, Behavior and Its Function, Families Living with Autism, Therapy Options, and Educational Advocacy.

Cost: $10 per individual, $20 family. Lunch will be provided.
